Runs

Runs are the execution of a set of transformations.

A manual run can be triggered in the GUI as follows:

• Right-click on a transformation directory, a worksheet (Sheet), or a scheduled run (Batch) and select Run
• Click Run in the header of a worksheet or batch
• On a transformation in the worksheet, select Run, Run selected, or Run from here

A run can also be started automatically by the datasqill Scheduler. This is triggered when the next execution date is reached or has passed and all dependencies at the batch level are met. In each of these cases, the same datasqill service is called and the corresponding objects to be started are passed along.

For each run, an entry is created in the repository database in the sqts_batch_instance table.
